Hutchinson, KS : Cheney man hurt in crash outside Kingman on Saturday afternoon, February 4, 2017

A Cheney man was injured in a collision Saturday afternoon near Kingman.

According to a Kansas Highway Patrol crash log, Jeffrey Hagar, 53, of Cheney was driving a pickup truck eastbound on U.S. 54 about 1.5 miles west of Kingman when the pickup rear-ended a trailer pulled by a semi-truck driven by Alvin Edwards, 63, of Palmdale, California.

Hagar was taken to Kingman Community Hospital with injuries. Edwards was uninjured, according to the crash log.
