Hartford, VT : Hartford officer injured in cruiser crash early Wednesday morning, December 30, 2015

Police say bad road conditions are to blame for a crash that landed a Hartford police officer in the hospital early Wednesday morning.

Investigators say the officer's cruiser slid off the road at the intersection of King's Highway and Reservoir Road. It went down a steep embankment and was heavily damaged.

The officer was treated for bumps and bruises at the hospital and released.
