Centerville, TN : One person killed and two others injured in a two-vehicle crash on Highway 100 in Hickman County on Monday, February 2, 2015

The Tennessee Highway Patrol has identified the man killed Monday in a Hickman County crash on Highway 100 as Regional G. Tidwell.

Tidwell, 23, of Centerville died after the Chevy Aero he was driving westbound on Highway 100 near Bell Branch Road crashed with an eastbound Dodge Avenger driven by Eva Nolen, 59, of Lyles, according to a highway patrol report.

Nolen and her two passengers, Jimmy Nolen, 41, of Lyles and Traci Coates, 38, of Duck River were injured and taken to a hospital for treatment. Two people had to be transported to a medical facility by helicopter, Hickman County Sheriff Randal Ward said.

The crash happened just before noon Monday. The report said speed was a factor in the crash and the posted limit is 55 miles per hour.
