Lincoln County, NC : Serious crash shuts down highway in Lincoln County on Friday, March 18, 2016

The North Carolina Highway Patrol is working a serious crash along Highway 27 in Lincoln County.
According to troopers, the crash happened along the highway near the Messiah United Methodist church before noon Friday.
From WBTV's Sky 3, an older model green pick-up truck can be seen with a lot of damage to the vehicle. The roof of the pickup truck appears to be ripped off with debris scattered along the highway.
Another vehicle appears to have collided into a power pole.
Emergency crews still had the intersection blocked off a while after the crash.
No word on the injuries from this incident.
