Joplin, MO : Carthage woman injured in I-44 crash on February, Tuesday 13th 2018

A Carthage woman suffered moderate injuries in a single-vehicle accident at 7:54 a.m. Tuesday on Interstate 44, a mile east of Halltown in Lawrence County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Erika L. Sarceno, 23, was taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital Joplin.

She was driving an eastbound car that ran off the road, struck an embankment and rolled several times, throwing her from the vehicle, the patrol said.
