JESSAMINE COUNTY, KY : 16-year-old boy killed in Nicholasville crash on Saturday, 29th June 2024

Nicholasville Police say a teenager was killed in a crash Saturday afternoon along U.S. 27 in Nicholasville.

According to a Facebook post by West Jessamine High School, senior Jared Suarez was the student killed in the crash.

Officers responded to the scene around 3 p.m. Saturday.

Officials say the 16-year-old boy was driving southbound on U.S. 27 (the Nicholasville Bypass) near Keene Centre Drive. When he went to change lanes from the left to right lane, officials say his back right bumper collided with the front left bumper of another vehicle.
