IDAHO FALLS, ID : A 33-year-old Idaho Falls man was killed in an agricultural accident on Wednesday, September 27th 2017

A 33-year-old Idaho Falls man was killed in an agricultural accident on Wednesday evening.

The accident occurred at approximately 9 p.m. in the 3000 W. block of 81st N. in Bonneville County.

According to the Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office, Kevin Fox was unloading a potato truck when his clothing got caught in the conveyor belt system on the back of the vehicle.

Authorities said others who were working with Fox were able to free him from his tangled clothing. The workers then performed CPR on Fox until personnel from Idaho Falls Ambulance arrived on scene.

But despite rescue efforts by both bystanders and emergency personnel, police said Fox succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

The Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office and the Bonneville County Coroner’s Office are investigating the incident.
