SPOKANE, WA : Bicyclist hospitalized in car crash on Nevada on Tuesday, 23rd July 2019

A bicyclist was sent to the hospital on Tuesday when a car collided with him, according to the Spokane Police Department.

Officers responded to the crash on Nevada at Everett. The bicyclist was transported to the hospital with what members with Spokane Fire initially said were life threatening injuries. According to a release by the Police Department, the man has internal injuries and numerous broken bones, but is expected to survive.

Nevada was closed in both directions between Sanson and Crown while officers investigated, but has since re-opened.
