Elizabethtown ,KY :50-year-old Kevin Shock killed in Crash after he struck vehicle along Western Kentucky Parkway on Monday night ,March 1th 2015
The name of the pedestrian killed in an accident on the Western Kentucky Parkway has been released. It happened just after 9:30 Monday night near the Hopkins-Muhlenberg County line at the 45 mile marker of the parkway. Kentucky State Police say their preliminary investigation shows a car was going east on the parkway when the vehicle struck 50-year-old Kevin Shock, of Central City, who was in the right lane. Shock was pronounced dead at the scene by Muhlenberg County Deputy Coroner Ricky King. He was taken to the State Medical Examiner's Office in Louisville. Troopers say they were able to identify Shock by using his fingerprints. Dispatch says the road was closed for several hours while crews worked the scene.
