Davenport, IA : Woman remains critical after U.S. 61 crash on Wednesday, January 4th 2017
A Muscatine woman remained in critical condition at University Hospitals, Iowa City, Wednesday after her minivan was hit by a semitractor-trailer Friday afternoon in Davenport, police said.
The crash occurred at 2:54 p.m. in the westbound lanes of West River Drive at the Interstate 280 interchange.
Davenport police said a Chevrolet Uplander driven by Gloria Rangel, 34, was westbound on West River Drive, also known as U.S. 61. She had three other family members, two of whom are juveniles, in the vehicle.
The Uplander had a green light at the I-280 interchange and continued west through the intersection.
