BATON ROUGE, LA : 2 killed in Christmas Eve crash in Baton Rouge on Sunday, 24th December 2023

The Baton Rouge Police Department is investigating after two people were killed in a crash on Christmas Eve.

The crash happened in the 9000 block of Airline Highway around 1:15 a.m. Police said Jason Dennis, 22, and Jonquetta Darville, 21, were possibly drag racing when Dennis lost control of a Ford Mustang and hit a tree.

They both died at the scene, police said.
