Park Twp., MI : West Olive man injured in crash near Quincy Street on Saturday, November 19, 2016

A 63-year-old West Olive man suffered non-life-threatening injuries in a 3-car crash Saturday evening on Lakeshore Drive near Quincy Street.

Anthony Driza was in stable condition when transported by ambulance to Holland Hospital following the 7:37 p.m. crash.

Police said Driza was driving north on Lakeshore, failed to negotiate a curve, crossed the center line and hit a northbound vehicle almost head-on.

That car, driven by John Gutierrez, 45, of Holland, was then rear-ended by a vehicle driven by Hannah Dryfhout, 22, of Holland. Neither Gutierrez nor Dryfhout were injured, according to Ottawa County Sheriff’s deputies.

Driza was pinned inside his vehicle for a short time before being extricated.
