Evansville, IN : 36-year-old man killed in car crash with semi truck on Interstate 69 in Warrick County on Saturday evening, January 10, 2015

A Gibson County man was killed in a two-vehicle crash in Warrick County Saturday evening.

According to the Warrick County Sheriff’s Office, Jeffrey VanScyoc, 36, of Princeton, Indiana, was travelling eastbound in a small passenger car on Indiana 68 just east of Weyerbacher Road near Lynnville around 5 p.m. when his car crossed the centerline and hit a westbound semi-truck head-on.

VanScyoc had to be extricated from the vehicle. He died at the scene, according to police.
