A Vidor man has died following a Monday crash in Tyler County.
Trevor Stephenson Gray, 25, of Vidor, was pronounced dead at St. Elizabeth Hospital Tuesday morning, according to information from DPS.
Previous report: Several people, including two children, were taken to the hospital following an early morning head-on crash in front of the Fred post office, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
Around 6:45 a.m., officials were called to the post office on FM 92 in Tyler County for a two-vehicle crash. A 2009 Toyota traveling Northbound crossed the center dividing line and collided with a 2013 Kia, according to a statement.
The driver of the Toyota was a 25-year-old man from Vidor. He was transported to Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont with serious injuries.
The driver of the Kia, a 28-year-old woman from Hemphill, had two children in the car. She was also taken to the hospital for serious injuries, according to the statement.
The 9-year-old in the car sustained minor injuries and a 3-year-old, who was properly secured in a car seat, did not appear to be injured. Both were taken to the hospital for observation.
Authorities are working to determine the cause of the crash.
