Grand Mesa, CO : One dead in crash on Highway 65 at around mile marker 37 on Thursday, 16th April, 2020

A 27-year-old man died in a crash that occurred on the Grand Mesa on Thursday morning, Colorado State Patrol reports.

CSP spokesperson trooper Gary Cutler said the crash occurred on Highway 65 at around mile marker 37 at 7:16 a.m. He said the vehicle reportedly slid 300 yards off the highway.

Mesa County Sheriff’s Office and Mesa County Search and Rescue assisted at the scene. Cutler said the road was completely reopened by 1:34 p.m .
