Winter Garden, FL : Two people died and five others injured in vehicle crash on Friday March 5 2016

Two people died and five others were injured in Winter Garden crash Friday night, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
It happened at the intersection of Avalon and McKinney Road just before 9:30 p.m.
According to FHP, Robert Hughes, 45, was driving east on McKinney Road in a Hyundai Genesis and failed to stop at a traffic sign.
Hughes hit the front of a Toyota van that had five people inside, including three children.
Hughes’ vehicle overturned before hitting two trees, troopers said. He was not wearing a seatbelt and died at the scene.
The driver of the van, Javiel Passalacqua-Cruz, 32, and another passenger received minor injuries and were taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center.
A third passenger, 26-year-old Jesus Soto, died in the crash.
The three children inside the van were taken to Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children with minor injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
