Jefferson City, MO : A Jefferson City man was hurt in a two-vehicle crash on Wednesday, August 30, 2017

A Jefferson City man was hurt in a two-vehicle crash Wednesday afternoon in Cole County.

Missouri Highway Patrol reports show the crash occurred at 4:15 p.m. on Route M at Roling Road.

Bryan Touchette, 51, of Jefferson City, was stopped preparing to make a left turn when a vehicle driven by Caden Killday, 16, of Jefferson City, experienced a mechanical failure that prevented it from stopping and collided into the rear of Touchette's vehicle.

Killday had no reported injuries, but Touchette was treated for minor injuries. Both drivers were wearing seat belts.
