Atlantic County, N.J : Pedestrian struck by car, killed in Galloway Township on Monday evening, February 6, 2017

A man has been struck by a car and killed while walking on a road in Galloway Township.

Police say the unidentified 35-year-old man was hit Monday evening. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver remained at the scene and was not injured.

The road was closed for about three hours while police investigated.

No charges have been filed.
