BOYNTON BEACH, FL : Eight people were injured in a crash on May, Saturday, 20th 2017

Eight people were injured Saturday afternoon in a crash in the northbound lanes of Florida’s Turnpike south of Boynton Beach Boulevard, Palm Beach County Fire Rescue said.

One person was taken to a trauma center. The others were taken to area hospitals. Some of those injured were children, said Capt. Albert Borroto, Fire Rescue spokesman.

Two vehicles were involved in the wreck, which took place at about 4 p.m. west of the city limits. The first crews on the scene found one vehicle on its side, Borroto said.
