Interstate 95 was reopened after a crash involving multiple motor vehicles

The northbound side of Interstate 95 was reopened Friday afternoon after a crash involving multiple motor vehicles including a tractor-trailer.

The crash was reported near Exit 30 just before 1:30 p.m.

Injuries have been reported, but the extent of those injuries was unknown.

The highway reopened around 3:15 p.m.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
