Davis, CA : Truck crashes into UCD dorm on Monday, March 6th 2017

A truck crashed into Thompson Hall at UC Davis early Monday morning after the driver lost control of the vehicle, campus officials said.

No one was injured during the 2:30 a.m. incident at Russell Boulevard and La Rue Road, although a bathroom inside the hall was damaged as a result of the impact, campus spokesman Andy Fell.

Alcohol was not believed to be a factor in the crash, and the driver was not arrested, Fell said.
