Allentown, PA : Stolen car crashes after chase at Hamilton and 12th streets early Sunday morning, June 19, 2016

When Pennsylvania State Police attempted to pull over a stolen Honda early Sunday morning in Allentown, the driver took off, leading troopers on a six-block chase until the car crashed at Hamilton and 12th streets, according to a news release.

While police didn't say who was driving, Roy Henry Smalls Jr., 18, of Allentown, and a 14-year-old juvenile were taken into custody, police said.

The pursuit of the 1998 Civic began at 2:53 a.m. at Hamilton and 18th streets, police said.

Charges were to be filed in District Judge Rashid Santiago's court, but they weren't immediately available Monday morning. Police said the incident involved fleeing and eluding.

Police did not indicate anyone was injured in the crash.

Smalls wasn't in custody at of 6:15 a.m. Monday, online records show.
