Everett ,WA : Motorcyclist killed in collision on Wednesday ,July 22nd 2015

A motorcyclist was killed in a collision with an SUV Wednesday near Everett, according to Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Shari Ireton.

The male victim was pronounced dead at the scene, Ireton said in a news release.

The male driver of the SUV was taken to Providence Regional Medical Center and a female passenger was taken to Harborview Medical Center, the release says.

The accident happened on Airport Road, just east of Highway 99, police say. Airport Road was closed in both directions near the highway for a few hours but re-opened around 7:30, according to a tweet by the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office.

The condition of the vehicle passengers is unknown at this time.
