Mahnomen ,MN : Two people injured in Three Vehicle Crash at the intersection of U.S. Highway 59 on Sunday afternoon ,April 26 2015

Two people were injured in a three-vehicle crash in Mahnomen, Sunday afternoon.

According to a report from the Minnesota State Patrol, the collision occurred shortly after 2 p.m. at the intersection of U.S. Highway 59 and Minnesota Highway 200.

According to the report, a 2012 Mercedes Benz operated by ChuChu Chen, 23, Grand Forks, was eastbound on Highway 200 when she, distracted while approaching a stop sign, failed to stop before entering the intersection with Highway 59.

Her vehicle struck a southbound Chevy Silverado operated by Bert Miller, 75, Crookston. The Silverado then struck a southbound Lincoln MKX on Highway 59, and then rolled into the ditch, according to the patrol. The Lincoln was operated by Moritz Wolbaum, 62, Audubon, Minn.

Miller, the driver of the Silverado, and Katherine Miller, 72, Crookston, a passenger in the Silverado, were treated for non-life-threatening injuries at Essentia Health in Mahnomen.

Five other people involved in the collision reported no injuries.
