Newcastle, WY : Teenager died, three injured in a two-vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 16 on Tuesday evening, May 3, 2016

Investigators say fatigued driving might have played a role in a two-vehicle crash that killed a teenager east of Newcastle.

Sgt. David Wagener with the Wyoming Highway Patrol says 17-year-old Laura Chord, of Newcastle, was headed east on U.S. Highway 16 on Tuesday evening when her vehicle drifted into the opposite lane and hit a Jeep Grand Cherokee. Chord died at the scene.

The driver of the Jeep and her three passengers were hospitalized. Their conditions have not been released.
