A Hurdland teen was injured in a collision Friday, Nov. 24, in Hannibal.
The Hannibal Police Department provided the following report: Officers were called on the area of U.S. 61 and Stardust Drive at 12:44 p.m. Friday in response to a report of a traffic crash with injuries.
An investigation revealed a 1997 Mercury Sable driven by a 17-year-old female from Hurdland traveled onto U.S. 61 from a private drive in the path of a 2007 Mazda driven by a 35-year-old male from Hannibal, resulting in a crash.
Both vehicles sustained heavy damage and were towed from the scene. The female driver was transported by ambulance to the Hannibal Regional Hospital for treatment.
