DELAWARE COUNTY, DE : Fatal crash in Delaware County on Saturday, August 26, 2017

The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash in Delaware County.

The crash happened around 5 a.m. Saturday at US-23 North at Coover Road involving a car and semi-truck.

Troopers say a Jaguar S-Type went left of center and struck the semi head on.

A passenger in the Jaguar, 18-year-old Tea M. Woods, of Newark, died at the scene. The driver of the Jaguar, 20-year-old Austin Guy, also of Newark, was transported to a local hospital. His injuries are not considered life threatening.

The driver of the semi was treated for minor injuries on the scene.

Troopers say the crash remains under investigation.
