Hayfork, CA : Driver killed in Trinity crash; vehicle catches fire on Wednesday, November 9, 2016

The driver of a vehicle that caught fire died in an accident Wednesday on Tule Creek Road off Highway 3 southwest of Hayfork, the California Highway Patrol reported.

The single-vehicle crash happened just before 5:30 p.m. about two miles from Green Gate Road, according to the CHP’s incident website.

The Trinity County Sheriff’s Office sent its coroner to the scene about 6:15 p.m.
