A 16-year-old driver avoided serious injury in a one-car crash Tuesday morning, officials say.
Anustri Samuelson, of Sunderland, was driving North on Sunderland Hill Road at about 8 a.m. when she lost control of her 2002 Toyota Camry, which slid across the southbound lane and off the roadway, striking several signs and trees, according to a release from the Vermont State Police.
The road was partly snow-covered. Samuelson sustained "minor bumps and bruise," according to the release.
The vehicle's entire front end and passenger side were damaged. The car was towed from the scene.
Arlington Fire and Rescue also responded.
