Montgomery, AL : Two people were killed and another injured in a three-vehicle crash on Friday, December, 22nd 2017

Two people were killed and another injured in a three-vehicle crash Friday evening in north Mobile County, according to Alabama state troopers.

Troopers said an unidentified vehicle was traveling west in the eastbound lanes of Alabama 158 near Newburn Road when it collided with a 2016 Honda Odyssey traveling eastbound at around 7:08 p.m.

The unidentified vehicle caught fire, killing the driver, troopers said. The driver hasn't been identified yet.

A passenger of the Odyssey, John Hudgens, 94, of Saraland also died in the crash.

The driver and another passenger of the Odyssey were injured and transported to USA Medical Center.

A third vehicle, a 2013 Ford Fusion, was also struck in the crash. The driver wasn't injured.

The crash remains under investigation.
