Limestone Township, IL : Minor injuries after collision in Limestone Township on Tuesday, 22nd February 2022

Nippenose Valley volunteer firefighters responded to Middle and Quarry roads in Limestone Township when these two SUVs collided about 12:30 p.m. Tuesday. A woman driving the Mercury Mountaineer was taken by ambulance to a hospital to be treated for minor injuries, state police said. Nippenose Valley firefighters were called out yet again a little more than four hours later to handle a crash at Routes 880 and 44. State police were investigating this accident as well.
