Joplin, MO : Pierce City man hurt in car accident in Lawrence County on Tuesday, March 28, 2017

A Pierce City man was hurt in a two-car accident at 6:46 p.m. Tuesday on County Road 1090, a mile north of Monett in Lawrence County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The patrol said that a westbound vehicle driven by Joyce M. Macon, 59, of Monett, pulled into the path of a northbound vehicle driven by Craig E. Harrington, 54, of Pierce City.

Harrington suffered minor injuries and was transported to Cox Monett Hospital by ambulance, the patrol said.
