The teen was charged Friday with 10 felony counts, including two counts of reckless homicide, in the July 13 deaths of 17-year-old Haleigh Fullerton and 9-year-old Callie Fullerton.
The (Lafayette) Journal & Courier reports she has been charged as an adult, but her attorney plans to appeal that decision.
The teen’s bond was set at $12,000.
Court documents say she had opiates in her system and was driving 107 mph when she lost control of the car and it crashed into a Frankfort-area home, killing the two sisters and injuring their mother.
