Orlando, FL : Driver killed in crossover crash in Orange County on Tuesday, January 10th 2017

An Orlando driver was killed Sunday when his southbound Buick Regal crossed into the northbound lanes on Orange Avenue and hit a tractor-trailer, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

Juan Lopez Elias, 24, was south of Town Center Boulevard about 9:25 p.m. when he tried to avoid the crash but hit the side of the truck, troopers said.

The truck driver, Roberto Roman, 52, of Kissimmee wasn't hurt.
