Verona, PA : 2 Hospitalized After Vehicle Crashes Into Verona Giant Eagle on Friday, 22nd February 2019

At least one person was hospitalized after a vehicle crashed near a building in Verona on Friday afternoon.

It happened around 3:40 p.m. at the Giant Eagle on Allegheny River Boulevard.

According to Penn Hills firefighters, the vehicle did not hit the building.Firefighters say the driver was trapped in the car. Crews removed the side door and got the driver out.

The driver was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
