Cheyenne, WY : 21-year-old man died in single-vehicle rollover crash on Highway 210 on Saturday morning, Oct 10, 2015
Investigators say a 21-year-old man who was killed in a single-vehicle rollover crash west of Cheyenne was not wearing a seat belt.
Wyoming Highway Patrol Sgt. David Wagener says Ronald J. Cotton, of Cheyenne, was driving a pickup on Highway 210 on Saturday morning when he failed to negotiate a curve and went off the highway. Cotton overcorrected and crossed two lanes of traffic before his truck rolled down an embankment.
Investigators say speed, inattention and fatigued driving might have played a role in the crash.
