Farmington, NM : Fruitland woman injured after crash between tractor-trailer and car on Monday afternoon, December 1, 2014
Crews with the Farmington Fire Department and San Juan Regional Medical Center attempt to free a women trapped in her car Monday in the 700 block of West Main Street in Farmington.
Cheryl Martell was driving a McDonald's tractor-trailer west on Main Street Monday afternoon when the 48-year-old Colorado resident hit a car, said Farmington police Sgt. David Karst.
The truck spun Pauline Mescale, a 51-year-old Fruitland resident driving the car, around and pushed her car about 200 feet. Mescale was transported to San Juan Regional Medical Center with neck and back pain, Karst said. Martell did not suffer injuries. Police said alcohol did not appear to be a factor.
