Topeka, KS : One person is dead in Shawnee County on Thursday,10th April 2018

One person is dead in an overnight crash in extreme northeast Shawnee County, authorities said.

The crash was reported around 1:45 a.m. Thursday near N.E. 82nd and Sherman Road.

Authorities said one person was killed in the crash, which occurred about a mile west of Meriden near the Shawnee-Jefferson county line.

The Shawnee County Sheriff’s Office was handling the investigation.
