motorcycle scooter accident Near Smithfield Virginia

About 10pm on Dec. 22nd a man on a small motorcycle or scooter crashed on Route 10, headed toward Suffolk, near Benns Church. I was first on the scene and stayed with him until EMS arrived. I can't seem to find any info on this and really want to know if he survived. Please respond if you know of this accident.
