Wake County, NC : 7-year-old girl dies in Wake County crash on Monday, 15th May 2023

A 7-year-old girl died Monday after a crash on State Route 1101 (Piney Grove-Wilbon Road) in Wake County, near Fuquay-Varina.

State Highway Patrol said a car was traveling southbound on Piney Grove-Wilbon Road when the driver veered off to the right and tried to overcorrect the turn. That's when the car crashed into another car that was traveling northbound.
