Pierce County, WA : Two dead of Highway 13 and Highway 81 in Pierce County on Thursday, 12th July 2018

A crash Thursday afternoon at the intersection of Highway 13 and Highway 81 in Pierce County has claimed the lives of two people, one of them a small child.

The crash occurred at about 12:45 p.m. Thursday, as a Buick Enclave attempted to turn west from Highway 81 onto Highway 13. The Buick was struck by a south-bound semi-trailer truck at the intersection five miles north of Norfolk and east of Hadar.
