Demotte, IN : Indiana high school basketball team involved in rollover bus crash on Saturday, March 19, 2016

A woman trying to grab a spilled drink caused a rollover crash Saturday in Indiana.

State police said the driver side-swiped a school bus carrying the Griffith High School basketball team to a state semifinal game in Lafayette, IN. The crash happened just after noon Saturday on I-65.

All 27 passengers - 21 students and six adults - were taken to nearby hospitals. All but one coach were released Saturday. The coach is reported to be in stable condition.

The crash backed up traffic for about 10 miles and closed parts of the interstate for four hours.

The game they were trying to get to will be rescheduled.
