A Massachusetts man died Monday afternoon after crashing his motorcycle into the back of a tractor-trailer along Interstate 81 in Schuylkill County, state police said.
The crash occurred just after 4 p.m. along the southbound lanes of the roadway in a construction zone near mile marker 107 in Frailey Township, near Route 209, police said.
Troopers identified the victim as Natale L. Lapriore, 73, of Fall River.
Lapriore was operating his 2014 Harley Davidson when he struck the back of a 2016 Volvo tractor-trailer as it slowed down to enter a single lane construction zone, police said.
