FERRISBURGH, Vt. -A man in hospital after car crash on 15th january 2015

A Burlington man is hospitalized after crashing into a tree. It happened at about 11 p.m. Thursday in Ferrisburgh near the intersection of Robinson Road and Route 7.

Police say Brandon Bush, 27, was headed south on Route 7 when his car crossed the center line and went off the road. His car struck a mailbox and then crashed head-on into a tree.

Ferrisburgh Fire and Rescue extracted Bush from the vehicle and he was transported to the UVM Medical Center in Burlington with serious leg injuries.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
