Memphis ,TN : Motorcycle rider Seriously injured after Driver of Car hit the motorcycle head on crash on Tuesday afternoon ,March 24th 201

A bad crash on Austin Peay Highway left a motorcycle rider in critical condition.

According to police, a Mercedes turned left out of a shopping center in the 3900 block of Austin Peay Highway around noon Tuesday and hit the motorcycle head on.

The driver of the Mercedes says she couldn't see the motorcycle because another car was turning into the shopping center.

However, witnesses told police the driver of the Mercedes was on her phone at the time of the accident.
