A 24-year-old Milford man was airlifted to the University of Michigan trauma hospital Saturday after he was involved in a single-vehicle crash around 4:15 p.m. According to a police report, officers were summoned to the area of South Milford Road and South Hill Road after a 1995 Chevy pick-up truck left the roadway and overturned. All three occupants – a 14-year-old Fenton girl and the driver, an 18-year-old Milford man, in addition to the 24-year-old passenger – were reportedly ejected from the vehicle. The 14-year-old, who did not require hospitalization, told officers the driver was going fast and struck an embankment, causing the truck to roll. The driver reportedly blew a preliminary breath test of 0.242 percent. The legal limit for driving in Michigan is .08 percent. He was transported to Botsford Hospital.
