A 24-year-old Milford man was airlifted to the University of Michigan trauma hospital Saturday after he was involved in a single-vehicle crash around 4:15 p.m.
According to a police report, officers were summoned to the area of South Milford Road and South Hill Road after a 1995 Chevy pick-up truck left the roadway and overturned.
All three occupants – a 14-year-old Fenton girl and the driver, an 18-year-old Milford man, in addition to the 24-year-old passenger – were reportedly ejected from the vehicle.
The 14-year-old, who did not require hospitalization, told officers the driver was going fast and struck an embankment, causing the truck to roll.
The driver reportedly blew a preliminary breath test of 0.242 percent. The legal limit for driving in Michigan is .08 percent. He was transported to Botsford Hospital.
As of Tuesday, police did not have an update on the condition of the individuals who were hospitalized.
