Anne Arundel County Police say two people were killed when their cars collided head-on in Davidsonville. It happened about 8:40 p.m. Monday on Central Avenue West. Police say 22-year-old Nicholas Anthony Cassidy of Davidsonville was traveling west when his Audi TT crossed the center line. Officers say Cassidy's car hit a Toyota Yaris driven by 60-year-old Marie Elaine Higgs of Edgewater. Higgs was pronounced dead at the scene. Cassidy died at a hospital.
