Moses Lake, WA : Othello man injured after his car crashed Highway 262 on Saturday July 19th 2014

An Othello man was injured Saturday after his car crashed south of Moses Lake.

Chriss S. Webster, 62, was driving eastbound in a Chevrolet Astro on Highway 262, said a Washington State Patrol news release.

His car left the roadway on the right side, striking a rock embankment. That caused the vehicle to cross the road again and onto the left side, coming to rest against another rock embankment.

Webster was taken to Samaritan Hospital in Moses Lake. His condition wasn't available Sunday. His car was towed from the scene.

Authorities said speeding caused the crash, and charges are pending.
