Sacramento, CA : Women killed in fiery crash near Del Rey identified on Wednesday, November 9th 2016

Two people who died Nov. 9 in a fiery crash near Central and Del Rey avenues, north of Del Rey, were identified Wednesday by the Fresno County coroner. They were Sandra Duenas De Villeda, 43, and Brenda Rodriguez, 30, both of Reedley.

The California Highway Patrol said the crash occurred after a Ford SUV traveling north on Del Rey Avenue was broadsided by a sedan traveling east on Central Avenue. The SUV rolled several times and caught fire.

The driver of the sedan was killed. A good Samaritan pulled out the driver of the SUV, a Dinuba woman, but couldn’t save another passenger.
