LEE COUNTY, FL : Fort Myers woman dies after crashing into guardrail, light pole on I-75 on Sunday, 27th September, 2020

A Fort Myers woman is dead after a crash on I-75 near Luckett Road on Sunday.

The 34-year-old was driving southbound on I-75 when her car veered right, just beyond the overpass, Florida Highway Patrol confirmed.

The front of the car hit the guardrail and drove down the embankment separating I-75 from the southbound entrance ramp.

Troopers said the front of her car also slammed into a large light pole, overturned, and caught on fire.
